If you're anything like us... you know that feeling of wanting to eat all the time, but not because you're hungry, just because you want something to do! What a terrible feeling. Eating a bunch of junk just to satisfy a boredom hunger.
Finally, we've found a recipe for treats that makes it seem like you're eating something healthy. Maybe it's the flax seeds or perhaps the oatmeal, but whatever it is, these tasty bites are delicious and so very easy to make! Who doesn't love that?
All you need to do is mix all the following ingredients together in a bowl and store it in the fridge for about 30 min. Then you roll the mix into bite sized balls and enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup (dry) oatmeal
2/3 cup toasted coconut flakes
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup ground flaxseed or wheat germ
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, but the better choice...)
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla
