Fancy Bib/Tie Bib

Dearest Darlings,
If you didn't know, I (Emily Skye) have the cutest and happiest baby cousin in the world! I love that little guy so much (and his parents! They rock, so it's no wonder their baby does too!) so I decided to make him a nice, fancy, little bib. So here's the how-to...
All you need for this one is plain bib (Hobby Lobby $3) and a bit of spare fabric. I had a sweater (that still looks new) that I was willing to tear apart because, despite its cuteness, it makes me look chubby :( Je n'aime pas.
First cut out a piece of cloth that is 2 1/2 inches squared. Then pin the sides under to where it resembles (well to me) a teacup!
Now what you want to do is sew that little teacup to the top, center of the bib.
Next, cut out a 6 1/2 inch by 4 inch piece and pin the sides under so that it looks like a diamond with a flat little top and sew that sucker down to make a not-so-proper tie on the bib!
Unfortunately my cousin, Robbie, had to go to the hospital recently. I haven't been able to give him his gift yet and let him model it for all ya'll, so until then you will have to deal with me!
Awe, look at my beautiful big brother! Anyways, I will post a picture of Robbie with his new bib ASAP! Maybe I could make a tux bib or bow tie bib next? Who knows?

Au revior, Sierra and Emily Skye

UPDATE: Robbie finally got his new bib!
