Periodically, Emily and I will make posts about random movies or music that we enjoy... so I thought I'd start of with a movie review!
Garden State
It's a rather old movie (meh, 2004), but nonetheless, you can't really go wrong with Zach Braff and Natalie Portman in a comedy flick. It's a hilarious story about a guy who visits his hometown for a funeral and what/who he encounters... including the adorable pathological liar that is Natalie Portman. I'll say no more so you can discover the greatness on your own., but I just need to mention that Jim Parsons is also in this film... the crazy scientist named Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory for those who are not familiar... and he's pretty funny.
If that's not cute enough, try this one.
AWH.
And another bonus to this great movie is that the soundtrack is amazing! One of my favorite sountracks ever... it's got the good old Shins, some Frou Frou, Simon and Garfunkel, Coldplay, and Iron & Wine. The music is very chill, relaxing, and perfect for a cold Autumn day (which I hope comes soon!).
All in all, I would highly recommend this movie and the soundtrack!
